Two Indian crafts come together in this piece.
The votive is hand-painted by Leather Puppetry artisans from Andhra Pradesh and rests on a wooden base made in Channapatna.
Its motifs take their cue from the Blue Pottery craft tradition.
Once a tealight is lit inside, the tile-like patterns glow softly.
Set it on a bedside table, bookshelf or pooja shelf for a calm, crafted accent, or pair a few designs for a festive tablescape.
The cover arrives flat and its interlocking edges join to form a cylinder that sits over the tealight.
The tealight is not included.
A thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates handmade Indian décor.
